PHL U11


Alberta Pro Hockey is pleased to offer for the upcoming 2025/2026 winter season - a U11 PHL team. 

Our dedicated coaching staff is pleased to offer a development based model with over 200 hours of hockey related activities. Alberta Pro Hockey is keen to develop strong athletes but most importantly great young people. This team is for players born in 2015/2016. 

Each individual program will offer the following development hours and games, as listed below:

Program Summary

- Consist of a guaranteed 95+ hours of on-ice development practice hours

- Minimum of 2 skill development practices/month (est. 12 - 14 sessions) ran by Alberta Pro Hockey Development Coaches. 

  • Power-skating 
  • Puck skills (shooting/passing/stickhandling) 
  • Position specific skills training

 Goalie Specific Instruction

  • 10 - 12 Goalie Specific Sessions 
  • Goaltending instruction to come out to individual team practices to maximize instructor player ratio

Off-Ice Training 

  • Age specific off ice programming
  • Program will be built to benefit the players in cardiovascular, agility, strength training as well as injury prevention & recovery techniques

Showcase Weekends 

  • Minimum of 3 Games per Showcase
  • 7 Showcase Weekends
  • 1 Final year end showcase = minimum of 3 games
  • Potential access to additional tournaments

 

Overall, families can expect over 200 hours of hockey related activities throughout the season.
